Notice of the King’s Lynn Triathlon Clubs Annual General Meeting
8pm, Thursday 12th Nov 2020
Via ZOOM because of Covid-19 Restrictions.
We are pleased to invite you to attend the forthcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 12th Nov, 2020. The AGM is an important constitutional gathering of King’s Lynn Triathlon Club’s members to hear about the progress of the Club, recent and on-going developments, and the many achievements of the members during the past difficult year. The meeting also provides a forum for members to put forward their ideas for the future of the Club. A minimum of 10% of voting members are required to conduct the AGM.
Voting members may make nominations for the committee to be elected at the AGM. This must be done by sending the nominees name, the post for which they are nominated with the names of both the proposer and seconder to the Club Secretary by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or in writing to the address below. This should be received no later than Thurs 5th November 2020. If there is more than one nomination for any post, a vote will be held by the remaining eligible members present. The positions that are open for nominations are:

Nominations are welcome for all positions but the current Welfare Officer, Training Coordinator, Clothing, Publicity and Social Secretary have either decided not to seek re-election, or the post is currently vacant. These are highlighted in red above. All other current committee members are willing to be nominated for re-election.
As a BTF-affiliated club, it is mandatory we have a welfare officer in place and that they have no other role on the committee. Detail of the Welfare Officer’s roles and responsibilities will be posted online and emailed shortly for your consideration.
The AGM will also consider a range of important club matters as determined by the Chairman. In addition, if you have any other business that you feel is relevant to the AGM then please note that this should be submitted to the secretary, in writing or by email, at least seven days before the meeting so an Agenda can be sent out to all members in plenty time. We will have our usual open forum immediately after the formal AGM for us to have an informal chat about our club.
Emails have been sent to all members with a zoom ID and password, but our AGM is also open to non-members (who will have no voting rights). If you would like to attend, email your request to the address below.
