December is upon us and this was the third event in the yearly series, this time racing over 6.5KM (4miles).
Shouldham Warren is a beautiful undulating wooded area with well-developed trails. The runs predominantly stick to the main fire break trails that scatter the warren. Underfoot the conditions, wet and muddy but still surprisingly mild. This particular course had some enjoyable upward sections for all to endure.
KLTC were once again in the top 3 age grades medals on the day.
Paratriatlete Ronnie Robinson was first home on the day for our club in 33:59 and grabbed 3rd place in his U17B age category. He was closely followed by Karen Wood in 34:44 taking the 2nd spot in her MW55-59 category, with Judith Berry finishing in 38:28 MW45-49 placing 10th.
Also pictured is our very own Debbie James and Helen Melville running under their Ryston affiliation. James ran a 31:15 which placed her 2nd in the MW50-54 category, and Melville 35:52 placing 6th MW45-49 category. |

On a cold and crisp Saturday morning, our club left their trail shoes at home and witnessed Parkrun from the 'other side' in the KLTC Sandringham Parkrun takeover. 129 runners were cared for by over 20 of our club members with the sound of cowbells cutting through the cool air. KLTC covered all the main roles from marshals to the tail walker. All under the supervision of Bridget the run director. Please view the official Parkrun race report from the link below.
