One lone triathlete battled occasional gusts of 40mph and represented King’s Lynn Triathlon Club last weekend over in Norwich, running in the Norfolk Gazelles Valentine 10K event. |
Norfolk Gazelles are a friendly road running club based in Norwich, Norfolk. They welcome all standards, from first-time runners to serious high-level athletes with an aim to help achieve the best runner you can be through coaching, encouragement, and support. This club event also formed part of the Sportlink Grand Prix for 2022. This year the 10K race resumed its start from the original Easton College venue and ran the traditional route. Runners set off on mass at 10 AM with small thirty-second gaps in set waves to support a narrowing of the route close to the start. Boasting a fast and potentially personal best course, the route was comprised mainly of a variety of paved and country roads. Jason Blackwell crossed the line to receive his finisher medal in 44:17 |
