Berry, amongst 25,000 cyclists set off from Victoria Embankment in central London and onward into Essex via the historic Epping Forest. Once in Essex, they pedalled past some of the county’s most picturesque towns and villages, including Ongar, Fyfield, the Rodings and Great Dunmow, before joining a section of the 2014 Stage Three Tour de France route. Once in central London, participants then completed their ride to rapturous applause at Tower Bridge – a stunning Finish Line for the 100-mile challenge. Berry spend 06:05.:43 in the saddle to complete this mammoth ride. Very cautiously quoting Berry....she explained... '' It was (expletive) mental!! Felt like you needed eyes in your bottom! Scary and tense, but thoroughly enjoyed the quality of the toilets'' ...
