I wanted to take this opportunity to let you all know what has been going on in the background with the club over the Christmas and New Year period. As you all know I have taken on the role as chairman for the club after Dave Neale decided to step down. I’m sure you will all join me in saying a massive thank you for all he did for the club and you can rest assured that he will still be around attending training and offering his knowledge during his legendary hill sessions.
The club website is currently in transition and Alistair Doig has been working hard on the new site which we hope to see pushed out in the not too distant future. As this is being developed we have also introduced a new online payment system. If you are ready to join then click on the join now tab and this will redirect you. Please take time to fill in the membership questionnaire as this will aid us when it comes to developing the club training program.
I would also like to remind you all that once you are a member of KLTC you are insured when it comes to training. However, to ensure you’re still covered when racing it is beneficial to join the British Triathlon Federation. This not only means you no longer need to purchase a race day licence but it also gives you access to discounts. All useful when starting out in a new sport or just upgrading your existing kit.

From a social aspect I look forward to seeing some of you at the Awards evening.
