Notice of the King’s Lynn Triathlon Clubs Annual General Meeting

The Club Committee are pleased to invite you to attend the forthcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). The AGM is an important constitutional gathering of King’s Lynn Triathlon Club’s members to hear about the progress of the Club, recent and on-going developments and the many achievements of the members during the past year. The meeting also provides a forum for members to put forward their ideas for the future of the Club. A minimum of 10% of voting members are required to conduct the AGM.
Voting members may make nominations for the committee to be elected at the AGM. This must be done by sending the nominees name, the post for which they are nominated and the names of both the proposer and seconder to the Committee. This should be received no later than Sat 5th Oct, 2019. Nominations are welcome for all positions.

For your information, the current Treasurer, Welfare Officer, Training coordinator, Social Secretary, Webadmin, Clothing and Membership officers are willing to be nominated for re-election, all other posts are either currently or will become vacant. The election of officers will normally be by a show of hands. The AGM will also consider a range of important club matters as determined by the committee. In addition, if you have any other business that you feel is relevant to the AGM, please note that this should be submitted to the committee in writing, at least seven days before the meeting.
In a break from previous years, the committee have decided to jolly-up the AGM by following it with an end-of-season social and awards at the popular Liquor&Loaded. Full details will be available shortly on our members’ facebook page, and our website at kltri.co.uk/events
