Open Water Social swimming Pentney Lake

Join us for Social Open Water swimming. These are non-coached sessions, jsust come along and swim

Please note there is a £5 fee to be paid directly to the venue upon arrival. The club receives no revenue from the venue.

Pentney also have a OW session on Saturday mornings 08:00-09:00hrs.

Venue:

Pentney lake (Premier water ski) PE32 1LE (Abbey Rd entrance )

This is a managed site with free parking, changing rooms and showers, plus a rescue boat.

The venue has a limited number of wetsuits and tow floats that can be borrowed.

In the spring the club will usually run:

A couple of pool based OW sessions about the time the lake reopens (The usual pool session fee applies)

At the lake - An introduction / get back in session which is free for members + venue fee. For non-members there is a small fee + venue fee

At the lake - A closer group swimming / race session. This is for club memebers only (free + venue fee)

In 2026 there may also be oppprunity to attend additional OW sessions but they will incur a cost per session.
