Well, it is almost that time of year. Many have spent the last couple of months getting themselves ready for the big day, while most have left it to the last minute to get in to gear – yes, it is time to actually start training for those early-summer long-distance events. Oh, and there is Christmas too.
I would like to thank everyone for supporting KLTC over the last year, and for the time put in by our committee, events subcommittee and coaches to make it such a success. However, if you thought 2019 was fun then hold on to your hats because there are some really exciting plans for next season, and don’t forget that everyone’s 2019 subscriptions expire on the 31st Dec (if they haven’t renewed already). The website will (hopefully) be sending reminders out the day before, and if you are lucky only once instead of every 20mins, but you can renew before then and get a free swim and turbo session.
The website is going to get a bit of an update under the bonnet over the holidays, and with a bit of luck nobody will notice, however it may take a little longer to get our free junior membership signup for members working properly in time for us to fully launch our Junior section in March.
Just in case I don’t see you at Mo’s Christmas eve run at Sandringham, or I still haven’t fixed my bike in time for Jess’ Brick session on the 29th, I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I have the feeling 2020 is going to be a humdinger!

Jess has asked me to also remind you of some winter training updates, especially the new Fri evening swim session at the CITB.
